Serves: 4-5 People, Family Size

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

Sea salt
12 ounces green beans, ends trimmed
2 turkey bacon slices
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon Super Sassy Seasoning
¼ teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
2 teaspoons sherry vinegar or white balsamic vinegar, plus more to taste
2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted (optional)

Steps:

1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil and salt the water
2. Add the green beans, turn
off the heat, and cover the pan
3. Leave for 5 minutes, then drain; shake the strainer to remove as much water as possible
4. While the beans are cooking, place the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, to desired crispness, turning a few times
5. Remove the turkey bacon from the pan, let cool slightly, then cut it into ¼ inch matchstick strips down the length of the bacon strips
6. In the same pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the green beans and cook, without stirring, for 2 minutes
7. Add the Super Sassy Seasoning and ¼ tsp salt and cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes, until the green beans are crisp-tender and browned in spots
8. Add the vinegar and cook, stirring, for about 30 seconds, until it is fully soaked into the green beans
9. Taste and add more salt or vinegar if needed
10. Top with the bacon and almonds, if desired
