Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 tablespoon GARLIC GODDESS
- 2 teaspoon SASSY SEASONING BLEND
- 2 teaspoons SOULFUL SEASONING SALT or Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, SASSY SEASONING BLEND and grated Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
- In another dish, beat the eggs.
- Season the chicken breasts with SOULFUL SEASONING SALT and GARLIC GODDESS SEASONING.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with olive oil. Place the coated chicken breasts on the baking sheet.
- Lightly spray the top of each chicken breast with olive oil spray for extra crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each breast, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Avoid overcooking chicken breasts. Cooking time may vary, especially if using thin slices. It’s recommended to monitor the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C) without overcooking.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle SOULFUL SEASONING SALT on top of the marinara sauce before adding the mozzarella cheese.
- Serve the Baked Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti or your favorite pasta and a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
