Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon GARLIC GODDESS
  • 2 teaspoon SASSY SEASONING BLEND
  • 2 teaspoons SOULFUL SEASONING SALT or Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, SASSY SEASONING BLEND and grated Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with SOULFUL SEASONING SALT and GARLIC GODDESS SEASONING.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with olive oil. Place the coated chicken breasts on the baking sheet.
  7. Lightly spray the top of each chicken breast with olive oil spray for extra crispiness.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
  9. Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each breast, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Avoid overcooking chicken breasts. Cooking time may vary, especially if using thin slices. It’s recommended to monitor the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C) without overcooking.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle SOULFUL SEASONING SALT on top of the marinara sauce before adding the mozzarella cheese.
  • Serve the Baked Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti or your favorite pasta and a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
