Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the CITRUS N’ HERB, GARLIC GODDESS, and SOULFUL SEASONING SALT. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add the butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chicken broth, and capers to the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly reduced.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of the lemon-caper sauce over the top of each breast. Sprinkle on the SPICY PEPPER BLEND to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a creamy version of this recipe add 1/4 cup heavy cream during step 4.
  • Serve with your favorite side dishes such as roasted green beans or asparagus, mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad.
